“With Diablo IV, we’re especially excited to once again open the doors to Sanctuary, this time more unforgiving than ever,” said Rod Fergusson, Diablo Franchise General Manager. ” The darkness of the first game will mingle with the progression possibilities of the second and the intense combat of Diablo III. Everything will be enhanced by a huge playground teeming with life that will continue to expand over the years. Players will have to make important decisions and will have to fight nightmarish creatures, explore dungeons, obtain legendary items and discover what the return of Lilith, the divine mother, means for Sanctuary. »

The demoness Lilith and the angel Inarius wanted to flee the Eternal conflict between Heaven and Hell. From their union was born Sanctuaire. Gold, several decades after the events of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, here they are again at war with each other, at the head of armies made up of their followers. Sanctuary is once again plagued by the savagery of rampaging demons, and it will take steadfast heroes and heroines to push back the darkness. Players will take on the role of one of these five classes: shapeshifting druid, clever thief, elemental witch, mighty barbarian, or cunning necromancer. As you progress, the game experience can be personalized in many ways thanks to the skill trees and the many synergies between spells and abilities.

For the first time, the world of Diablo will be a huge open world.
