Retail fuel prices in Thailand have undergone a downward adjustment effective 05:00 local time on November 6, 2026. Major distributors, including PTT Oil and Retail Business (SET: OR) and Bangchak Corporation (SET: BCP), have reduced gasoline and gasohol prices by 1.00 baht per liter, while diesel (B7) has been reduced by 0.75 baht per liter.
The price adjustments follow a resolution by the Oil Fuel Fund Administration Committee (ONPA) to align domestic retail prices with softening global market trends. The committee noted that global oil prices have faced downward pressure due to easing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, increased oil export volumes from the Persian Gulf, and concerns regarding a potential global economic slowdown impacting crude oil demand. On November 5, 2026, global market benchmarks saw diesel close at approximately 155 U.S. dollars per barrel and gasoline at 105 U.S. dollars per barrel, down from 166 and 112 U.S. dollars respectively the previous day.

Adjusted Retail Pricing
Following the mandate, the retail prices in Bangkok—excluding local municipal taxes—have been set as follows:
- Gasoline: 49.33 baht per liter
- Gasohol 95: 39.84 baht per liter
- Gasohol 91: 39.47 baht per liter
- Gasohol E20: 31.80 baht per liter
- Gasohol E85: 30.63 baht per liter
- Diesel B7: 41.79 baht per liter
While standard grades saw reductions, certain premium fuels remain unchanged. Specifically, PTT Station and Bangchak have maintained current prices for premium gasohol products and premium diesel, as well as Diesel B20, which remains at 33.50 baht per liter (source). Premium offerings including PTT’s Super Power GSH95 and Super Power X 99, as well as Bangchak’s Hi Premium 98 Plus, are set at 47.05 baht, 49.05 baht, and 48.55 baht respectively.
Impact on the Oil Fuel Fund
The Oil Fuel Fund Administration Committee stated that this price restructuring serves to both lower the cost of living for the public and improve the liquidity of the Oil Fuel Fund. By adjusting the compensation rates for various fuel types, the committee aims to reduce the fund’s previous expenditure burden, which had reached 69 million baht per day. As part of this fiscal recalibration, the committee adjusted the compensation rate for diesel B7 to 2.37 baht per liter, while increasing the collection rate for gasoline to 11.29 baht per liter. These changes will remain in effect through November 7, 2026.
