According to the wishes of the Chancellor’s ÖVP party, such a payment card should also be introduced in Austria for asylum seekers. Corresponding plans were also discussed on Tuesday at a meeting between Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann and his Austrian counterpart Gerhard Karner in Vienna.
