That’s what Liverpool coach Klopp says about Mané poker with Bayern – football

FC Bayern is happy about the new superstar Sadio Mané (30) – and Jürgen Klopp (55) will have to do without the offensive player in the coming season.

Now the Liverpool coach has spoken for the first time about the 32 million change. In an interview on the club’s website, he said: “Sadio, what can I say about Sadio, hey? What a player. A world class player. (…) I like the way it happened because it was totally clean. We knew, he told us, his agent told us that they wanted to leave us, that they wanted a new challenge, that they wanted to find a new club.”

The new challenge is now: FC Bayern! The record champion pays 32 million euros for the Senegalese. Klopp says of poker: “Negotiations are never easy. It’s all good until we talk money, but that worked out really well.”

Mané has scored 120 goals and prepared 40 more in 269 games for the Reds. Klopp: “He’s a Liverpool legend, one of the greatest Premier League players of all time with the numbers to his name. He’s also a fantastic person. So we’re really happy that he’s now at a club he wants to be at. He is very grateful for everything we have done and we are very grateful too. And now he’s with another club.”
