The new 2023 BMW X1 did reasonably well in the Moose test, although its results weren’t overly impressive.

And the slalom test was done too, I completed BMW X1 18d That at 25.5 seconds is slightly slower than Tonale’s time of 24.9 seconds.

And although we haven’t driven the new X1 in 18d guise, we had the chance to test it in xDrive28i guise in November.

This variant is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 241 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque, gains of 13 hp and 37 lb-ft (50 Nm) over the previous-generation model.

The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and where the xDrive28i has all-wheel drive, the 18d tested by km77 is front-wheel drive.
