The 6th Guangzhou Awards is now accepting nominations.

Guangzhou, China (ots/PRNewswire) On February 23, the opening ceremony of the 6th Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation (Guangzhou Award) was held in Barcelona, ​​Spain during the United Cities and Local Governments 2023 Convention and Campus (UCLG )) instead of. Co-sponsored by the city of Guangzhou and the organizations UCLG and Metropolis, the Guangzhou Award aims to recognize innovation in improving social, economic and environmental sustainability and good urban stewardship in cities and regions, thereby promoting the prosperity and quality of life of their Citizens. So far, five cycles have been carried out, involving more than 1,300 initiatives worldwide. The event has grown into a global platform for city-to-city learning and the documentation, dissemination and analysis of local implementation of global agendas, including SDGs and the New Urban Agenda (NUA).
