A male nurse drove the ambulance that hit the bike carrying father and daughter in Thiruvananthapuram’s Venjaramoot. Amal, the mail nurse who was driving, was taken into police custody. The father died in the accident and his four-year-old daughter was injured.
At 6.20 in the morning, an ambulance hit the bike the father and daughter were traveling in at Venjarumut. The father, Shibu, who was admitted to the hospital, died and his daughter is still undergoing treatment. The police immediately found out that the driver fell asleep as the cause of the accident.
Later, it was found that the driver was not the driver. A mail nurse was driving the car named after the Medical College Employees Society. The driver told the police that he was handing over the vehicle to nurse Amal due to sleepiness. The police interrogate both of them.
