Since then, the two blame each other and the fear of an escalation grows in Europe. On the one hand, Russia wants to fish out the American drone and accuses the USA of having caused the crash in the Black Sea and which, according to it, proves the involvement of the United States in the operations in Ukraine. On Wednesday, Russia’s Defense Minister claimed in a call with his American counterpart on Wednesday that the “strengthening” of US-led espionage operations was one of the causes of the incident.

This Thursday, the Americans released a video of the accident. We see the plane perform a maneuver before colliding with the flying object. Which caused the drone to crash into the ocean. The US accuses the Russian planes of flying “recklessly, disrespectfully and unprofessionally” in international airspace. According to the United States, the drone was on a routine flight intended to strengthen the defense and security of Europe.
Russia denied these explanations and said that the planes did not come into contact with the drone and that it crashed following a “sudden maneuver”.
