Al-Marsad Newspaper – Agencies: Argentina decided to put the image of the player Lionel Messi and his companions on an Argentine commemorative coin.
Before the final match of the World Cup last Sunday at Lusail Stadium in Qatar, the authorities studied with the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic the most prominent options for celebrating a world title.
Previous commemorative coins have been issued by the central bank when Argentina won the World Cup for the first time in 1978, as well as during celebrations of the bicentenary and the fiftieth anniversary of the death of leader Eva Peron.
The same thing was done, following winning the Qatar World Cup 2022, by placing Messi’s image on a commemorative coin of the thousand-peso class, because it is important for officials to perpetuate this memory on the coin.
