The nominal accrued average salary of employees of the Republic of Belarus in February 2023 amounted to 1,687.8 rubles and increased by 2.9 rubles compared to January.

In January, the average salary compared to December fell immediately by 230.7 rubles.

The nominal accrued salary is the salary before income tax at the rate of 13% and 1% of the mandatory insurance contribution to the Social Security Fund.

Real wages in February 2023 fell by 3.4% compared to February 2022.

The nominal accrued average salary of workers in Minsk in February amounted to 2335.2 rubles, Minsk region – 1677.4 rubles, in Gomel – 1530.8 rubles, Brest – 1473.5 rubles, Grodno -1497.1 rubles, Vitebsk – 1412.5 rubles , in Mogilev – 1386.8 rubles.

The largest accrued average monthly salary in February in the sector “information technology and activities in the field of information services” and amounted to 6420.7 rubles. In second place is the activity of passenger air transport – 3984 rubles, in the third – “auxiliary activities in the field of financial services and insurance” – 3455.7 rubles.

The least accrued in February to employees of hairdressing and beauty salons – 799.5 rubles; activities of libraries, archives, museums and other activities in the field of culture – 993.3 rubles; care activities in specialized institutions and the provision of social services – 1039.8 rubles.
