If the main concerns of citizens are considered, except for inflation control, there was bad news: crime increased, cases of corruption that hit the perception of probity, the government failed in its attempt at pension reform, waiting lists in health continue to grow, the economy has not been able to create enough formal jobs, the commitment to build 260 thousand homes will not be fulfilled and school attendance levels have not yet recovered after the pandemic.

Regarding the time remaining to conclude andIn the government, the deputy for Ñuble maintained that “in the next two years of government, better management is required to reverse these bad indicators and put aside ideological positions to achieve agreements that benefit citizens. Considering that the next two years will be marked by elections (this year they are those of regional and municipal authorities and next year the parliamentary and presidential ones), which will possibly make it difficult to reach major agreements in Congress, it becomes essential that the Government can concentrate on improve management in order to increase effectiveness in the prosecution of crime, properly control borders, reduce waiting lists in state hospitals and improve the quality of education in SLEPs. Improve anti-corruption controls and clear up tax and p uncertaintiesrevisions is also essential so that the country can grow again and create jobs.”
