A band is a band, that’s superficially simple. But because of the human closeness that life in such a group entails, many bands are more: They are gangs, conspired communities. And in such there are rules, even laws. One thing regarding the Dives is that no matter how much you argue, it’s forbidden to leave the band. “No application for dissolution would ever be granted,” says Viktoria Kirner*.
