The Professional Association of Banks in Morocco announced that Monday, April 24, 2023 will be granted, exceptionally, as a day off for the banking sector, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
The association stated, in its periodical, that “after consultation, the Professional Association of Banks in Morocco announces the adoption of Monday, April 24, 2023, as an exceptional holiday for the banking sector, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.”
In this regard, the Professional Association of Banks in Morocco calls on banks to inform their employees and customers of the suspension of work during this day.
The association also called for “taking the necessary measures in order to ensure the provision of a sufficient amount of funds to provide automatic windows in all regions of the Kingdom, with the aim of responding to the withdrawal needs of customers during the Eid Al-Fitr period.”
The Professional Association of Moroccan Banks also recommended securing the necessary human and technical resources to ensure the proper functioning of automatic bank windows, and to intervene in the event of any malfunction or technical defect.
