A high school student ended her life after taking a quantity of drug pills in the Amreya area in Alexandria, after she was exposed to an incident of electronic blackmail by publishing explicit pictures attributed to her.

The search team formed with the knowledge of criminal investigation officers in the Alexandria Security Directorate was able to determine the identity of the accused and his whereabouts, and after legalizing the procedures, he was arrested and the device used in electronic extortion was found in his possession via the social networking site “Facebook”, and the record 864 of 2022 was issued by the Police Department.
