The Board of Directors of King Salman Park Foundation headed by the Crown Prince announces the launch of the Royal Art Complex in Riyadh

Al-Marsad newspaper – SPA: The Board of Directors of King Salman Park, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, may God protect him, announced the launch of the construction works at the Royal Art Complex in Riyadh on an area of ​​more than 500,000 square meters.
One of the most important features of the King Salman Park project is the Royal Art Complex. It was launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God support him – on March 19, 2019, with the follow-up and interest of His Highness the Crown Prince.

Museum of World Cultures

The Royal Art Complex includes the Museum of World Cultures, which is being built in one of the complex’s buildings and reaches a height of 110 meters, in addition to the National Theater with a capacity of 2,300 seats, and the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, which includes three academies: the Academy of Traditional Visual Arts, the Academy of Cultural Heritage and Restoration, and the Academy of Arts theatrical play.

Sculpture hall

The complex also contains a hall for sculpture works, in addition to two theaters, three cinema halls, and a large hall that houses the works of artists and creators, as well as a library specialized in culture and arts that includes more than 250 thousand books.

The King Salman Park Foundation aspires to embody the vision of His Highness the Crown Prince that the complex be a major beacon of culture and arts in the capital, Riyadh, where the style of its architecture reflects the depth of local identity, by basing the design on the principles of Salmaniya architecture, which blends the spirit of originality and heritage with modernity at the same time.
