Sandra Venus is no longer applying for the KWF board position

Klagenfurt am Wörthersee (OTS) Most recently, it was common practice for the contracts of the board members of the Carinthian Economic Development Fund (KWF) to be extended after five years. Since January 2023, after colleague Erhard Juritsch retired, Sandra Venus has been alone at the head of the KWF. At the Board of Trustees meeting at the beginning of October, Venus was informed that this time there would be a call for tenders.

After careful consideration, I have decided not to apply for the position of board member of the Carinthian Economic Development Fund after the end of the current five-year period. The fact that there is a majority decision to re-advertise the position means that the board of trustees did not trust me to continue working together. After more than 20 years at KWF, it is time for me to take on new professional challengessays Venus.

The Burgenland native has held one of the two positions since 2013 and has been the sole board member of the KWF since this year. I have always carried out my tasks with full commitment and have always worked enthusiastically on the further development of Carinthia as a business location. Accompanying, supporting and promoting companies, even beyond monetary donations, was particularly important to me. And yes – development happens through joy, trust and cooperation.

Therefore, Venus will end her activity in the KWF on March 31, 2024. I would like to thank you for 20 wonderful years in a company that has grown close to my heart with its great employees and wish my successor all the best for their future tasks.
