The College of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Hidalgo (CECyTEH), Tizayuca campus, joined the certification strategy of Health Promoting Schools in the entity.
The authorities of the Hidalgo Health Secretariat (SSH) delivered the certification to the teaching staff and student representatives, which will create more favorable environments and a new culture of health, in order to carry out the fulfillment of the objectives. of the Interinstitutional Collaboration Agreement for School Health: “Healthy and Active Schools”.
To this end, some of the conditions have been prioritized, by promoting correct nutrition, adequate hydration and increased physical activity to avoid the national epidemiological panorama, overweight and obesity.
Consequently, schools must educate future generations with humanistic values, comprehensive and general well-being within each school community.
Therefore, the coordination and participation between the school campuses will carry out activities such as: training courses, educational sessions and workshops, celebration of dates alluding to health, ceremonies and civic parades, information meetings, participation of the School Council to support the program and promotion of community participation, among other activities.
