With the HiPhi Z, the start-up Human Horizons is bringing an extravagant luxury electric car with a network consisting of six “masterminds”.

He’s not a beauty. But noticeable. We are talking about the new HiPhi Z, which the Chinese car manufacturer Human Horizons has now presented as a production version. The car was on display for the first time in 2021, when it was officially declared a concept. Now the 5.20 meter long Stromer is to be launched in China at prices starting at the equivalent of 90,000 francs.

Wild Light Show

Human Horizons is committed to offering cars that are far beyond the mainstream, while also being luxurious and powerful. Accordingly, the Z offers extravagant solutions such as the doors hinged in opposite directions and a metal skin cleft with various large light surfaces. 4066 LEDs are integrated here, which allow wild lighting scenarios and communication with the outside world.

Elegant looks different, but the HiPhi Z will definitely attract attention.

Human Horizon promises exquisite materials for the interior, a premium sound system and a network consisting of six “super brains” that, in addition to a number of intelligent functions, should also enable the vehicle to think logically and continuously learn. In addition, the luxury electric car will already be able to handle automated driving at level 3 upon delivery.

The electrically powered Gran Turismo has a sophisticated chassis with all-aluminum front suspension with double wishbones, five-link rear suspension, air springs and continuous damping control. The information about the drive is not particularly precise, but the manufacturer promises so much: it goes fast and far. The sprint to 100 km/h should only take 3.8 seconds and the 120 kWh battery should allow a range of over 700 kilometers. Nothing is currently known about a market launch in Switzerland.
