Al-Marsad newspaper: Social media pioneers circulated a video clip in which the voice of a girl being beaten and abused by her father in Jizan appeared.
The video documented the girl screaming and crying out loud as a result of her abuse by her father, who tells her in the circulating clip: “Do not scream.”
Meanwhile, social media activists launched a hashtag entitled “Manafaa Al-Sea”, which rose to the trend of “Twitter”, after comments were poured out on it, calling on the competent authorities to verify the authenticity of the video to save the girl from the torture she is subjected to from her father.
For its part, the Family Violence Reporting Center interacted with the video circulating of the abused girl in Jizan by her father, commenting: “My dear sister, we are here to protect you and help you. We hope to communicate with us through private messages, thanking you.”
