The death of a girl in a school bus in Qatar: 3 people have been arrested Minza

Kottayam – Three bus staff have been arrested in connection with the death of Malayali girl Minsa Mariam Jacob (4) who fell asleep inside the school bus due to the heat. It is reported that action is being taken against people including Malayalees. This has not been officially announced. The Ministry of Education of Qatar has stated that strict action will be taken against the culprits. Minister of Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Nuaimi visited Minzah’s home to console the family and offered all assistance.

A comprehensive investigation was announced on Sunday when the incident took place. Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Public Health etc. are also cooperating in the inspection. A detailed medical examination was conducted as it was an unusual incident. The relatives informed that the body will be released only after getting the result of this and the permission of the court. The culture is in the native Singhavan.

Meanwhile, thousands of people, including natives, came to Qatar to express their grief and protest over the incident. There are posts everywhere on social media demanding strict action against schools that show negligence in the safety of children. Minza, a KG 1 student of Al Wakra Spring Field Kindergarten, was unaware that the bus had been locked and the staff were leaving.

In the afternoon, the child was found unconscious when he took the bus to bring the students back home. Minsa’s life could not be saved as she spent several hours inside the bus in extreme heat. Minza is the younger daughter of Abhilash Chacko and Soumya, a senior graphic designer at the Qatar World Cup Committee, Chingavanam Kochuparam.
