Dr. Anisa Hassouna, a former member of Parliament, passed away shortly after a struggle with cancer.

Anisa Hassouna, in an interview a few days before her death, confirmed that women are witnessing their golden age under the rule of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, who seeks to empower them in all sectors, pointing out that what made her happy is the woman sitting on the judiciary platform because she was demanding that. And she continued, “I did not believe that there would come a day when women would sit on the judiciary platform,” pointing to the need to train men on women’s rights.
