The death of the artist, Fatima Mazhar, the half-sister of the late star Ahmed Mazhar

The artist, Fatima Mazhar, who is the half-sister of the late artist Ahmed Mazhar, passed away on Wednesday evening, and one of her most famous works is the movie “Warm hugs”, where she embodied the character of the heroine’s friend, played by the artist Zubaida Tharwat, and the artists Samir Ghanem and Samir Sabry participated in them, and on television it was one of her most famous works. The series “My Dear Sons, Thank You”, starring Abdel Moneim Madbouly, with the participation of a group of stars.

Fatma Mazhar was born in Cairo in 1943. She graduated from the English Department of the Faculty of Arts, and later joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. She participated in a large number of films from the seventies until the nineties, including (The Warm Lambs, The Seller of Love, The Women’s Union), and she also participated in starring in several television series, including (Cairo and the People, My Dear Sons, Thank You, Al Akbar Tower, the past is back now).

Ahmed Mazhar, who raised his sister, refused to take her acting experience, justifying his position that she was still young, as he was keen on her educational future, especially since Fatima was keen to enter the art world during her university studies, which Mazhar strongly rejected.

In 1972, “Fatima” said in a press statement to her, that she knew that her brother was right when he tried to prevent her from acting before completing her studies, as she saw the joy in her brother’s eyes, and Ahmed Mazhar changed his opinion and left her to go through the experience as she liked, and she realized since then the importance of education and the extent of love her brother to her.
