This morning, Saturday, the Lebanese artist, George Al-Rassi, died in a terrible traffic accident on the factory road near Public Security, and civil defense personnel went to the scene of the accident.
The girl who was accompanying George on his journey also died instantly, and the photos that were published on the Lebanese press websites revealed that the accident was very huge and it seemed that George was driving the car before he lost control of it.
The Civil Defense transferred the two bodies to Taanayel Governmental Hospital, after the accident occurred between the Lebanese-Syrian border, where George Al-Rassi was returning from his concert in Syria, according to what was published by “onetvlebanon”.
Georges Al-Rassi was born into an artistic family. His father is an oud player, and he was able to pursue his vocal and artistic abilities. And the first contract that George Al-Rassi spent at the age of 16 was with the “Obsion” club, to perform concerts, as it was his main opportunity to meet the public.
In 1995, George Al-Rassi met the famous composer Samir Qibti, and George Samir’s abilities convinced him, so that the latter would become his own producer. After that, he trained under the hand of musician Shaker Al-Mouji, where he was able, in cooperation with him, to release the album “Hekaya”, most of his songs were composed by him.
