The Lebanese artist, George Al-Rassi, was killed in a road accident
Lebanese media reported the death of the artist, George Al-Rassi, this morning, Saturday, August 27, 2022, in a terrible traffic accident. She explained that “the Lebanese artist, George Al-Rassi, died in a traffic accident on the Lebanese-Syrian border, and his escort also died immediately.”
The news indicated that the late artist’s car collided with “a median barrier in the factory’s place at the separation point, between the Lebanese and Syrian borders, while he was coming from the Syrian border, and the Civil Defense personnel worked to pull the two bodies from inside the car, and transported them to Taanayel General Hospital.”
And fate decided that the concert that the late singer performed in Damascus, after a series of concerts he had recently performed between Lebanon and Egypt, concluded a short artistic career, with a tragic departure at the age of 39, and his last lyrical release was “I work with my original” in late May 2022.
