New episodes already in May and July
Normally, ProSieben always shows new episodes of “Das Duell um die Welt” in autumn, but this year it’s earlier: New editions are already flickering on the screens on May 7th and July 16th, of course once more at prime time. It is not known why the broadcaster chose spring and summer dates this time.
Perhaps one would also like to pay homage to the format itself – because this year “The Duel Around the World” celebrates its quite remarkable tenth birthday. The first episode went on air on July 21st. And the rest is history – whether it’s cult TV or trash TV, everyone has to decide for themselves …
By the way: The new editions of the equally successful (and socially critical) format “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben” will start on April 19th.
