An accident took place following exit 23 “WELLIN” on the E411 motorway on the lanes towards Arlon. A truck trailer caught fire. Firefighters were able to intervene by closing the road. There’s still some cleanup and towing work to do before the freeway can be reopened. A diversion is in place via exit 23 “WELLIN”. Follow the markings C: N94 – N40 – resumption of the motorway at the level of the next access 24 ‘TELLIN’.
According to information from the SPW, the fire is under control. We still have to evacuate the truck and assess the damage on the macadam. It might take another hour. Opening forecast on a first band at 8:30 p.m.
