Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, made a phone call, on Wednesday, with the President of the Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, during which the Emir of Qatar expressed his congratulations on the new appointments issued by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in the Emirates, According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The President of the Emirates issued decisions appointing Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, as Vice President of the State, appointing Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed as Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and appointing Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed and Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed as Deputy Rulers of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) said that the President of the Emirates received by telephone the Emir of Qatar’s congratulations on the new leadership appointments, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed his thanks to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad for his congratulations and “the sincere brotherly feelings he showed, wishing the brotherly State of Qatar and its people further progress and development.” According to WAM.
