Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have had a long rivalry and not just over their careers.
At the height of their fame in the 1980s, the two actors clashed over everything from their income to their muscles to the size of the guns they wielded in their films,
In an upcoming joint television interview titled “TMZ Presents: Arnold and Sly: Rivals, Friends, Icons,” the Hollywood veterans admitted they still don’t know who had the bigger career.
A preview of the discussion shows Arnold sitting alongside Sylvester: “We ended up saying, ‘You killed 28 people in this movie, I killed 32.’
Arnie later said: “He killed 80 people, so I had to kill 87.”
To which Sylvester responded: “It was suddenly about the body count in our movies and then it was like ‘Well, what’s your body fat level?’
The Terminator star and former governor of California admitted he became jealous of the weapons Sylvester used on camera, from his “Rambo knife” to the machine guns he wielded in the franchise – and admitted he quickly demanded equally huge automatic guns.
Arnie continues: “Then he started using machine guns which were sort of huge machine guns. I was chasing him, he wasn’t chasing me.”
