The fall of Talleres in La Plata, what is missing and the series of games

Talleres lost to Estudiantes de La Plata by 1-0 and went undefeated as a visitor in the Professional League. The team led by Javier Gandolfi has gone three games without victories, with two draws (Colón and San Lorenzo) and the loss against Pincha, to remain with 21 units.

“It was a very fought game, we leave with a lot of anger. In the end we had chances to tie it and it didn’t happen”, said Rodrigo Villagra.

“We need to put it in, just that is missing. We had chances but we couldn’t score”, Villagra indicated after the defeat in La Plata. “We are never going to give up, the tournament is long, and we have to keep going,” added the Talleres midfielder.

After Central, Talleres will visit Racing on Monday, May 8, receive River (May 14) and play the classic with Belgrano in Alberdi, plus the match for the Argentine Cup.
