According to the “HBC” report, 22-year-old Tomo Suzuki is also one of the missing list on the Shiretoko Peninsula sightseeing boat. His father, 51-year-old Suzuki Gang, said that his son went out to play with his girlfriend. Originally, his son planned to be with his girlfriend who has been with him for many years. Proposal, and even bought a ring, but unexpectedly encountered such a thing.

Suzuki also said that when his son got on the boat, he even received a video shot by his son and saw the happy expression of his son’s girlfriend. In the middle, although he went to the local area to identify the remains, so far he has not found the son and his girlfriend.

According to reports, the wrecked ship was the KAZU1 belonging to the Shiretoko Cruise Company. At the time of the incident, in addition to the captain and deck crew, there were 22 adult tourists and 2 minor children tourists, a total of 26 people.

At 13:15 p.m. on the 23rd, KAZU1 sailed past the Kasunino Falls (カシュニの滝) on the west side of the Shiretoko Peninsula, and suddenly the headquarter of the Coast Guard of the jurisdiction was flooded and was sinking. The whole vessel was tilted about 30 degrees. After receiving the information, the Coast Guard hurriedly dispatched personnel to help.
