Al-Marsad newspaper: The new Minister of Education, Youssef Al-Bunyan, posted a congratulations, through his official account on the social networking site Twitter, to teachers on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day.
Al-Bunyan said: “I congratulate my fellow teachers and male and female teachers on the occasion of the #WorldTeacher_Day, appreciating their efforts, praising their contributions, and noting their educational role in building the human being and forming a competitive society that achieves the goals of sustainable development for the nation.”
Today (Wednesday) the Ministry of Education celebrates this occasion under the slogan “Transformation in education begins with the teacher”, through a special ceremony at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, and various events and programs that it will implement in education departments and schools for a period of 3 days.
