The first comment of the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service on a clip of its members dancing on a song glorifying Saddam Hussein in Jordan

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Counter-Terrorism Service in Iraq issued a statement denying that members of its fighters danced to a song praising the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in Jordan.

The statement stated: “The video is absurd and has nothing to do with the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service to confuse the achievement achieved in the “International Warrior Competition in Jordan”, in which the device won the first ranks.”

And he continued, “As is clear in the video, the ranks and slogans have nothing to do with us, and our fighters participating in the competition are only 7 ranks, unlike what was shown in the video.”

The statement pointed out that there are dozens of military forces who wear black uniforms inside and outside Iraq, and it is not reasonable to attribute everyone who wears this uniform to the anti-terrorist apparatus.

The pioneers of social networking sites circulated a video clip of soldiers dancing to the tunes of a song glorifying Saddam, said to be during the “Jordan International Warrior Competition”.
