the first official photos and several release dates

Faced with numerous information leaks around its OnePlus 11, the brand has decided to share the first official photos and some technical characteristics of its future high-end smartphone. At the same time, we learn that its launch will be staggered.

It was on the Chinese social network Weibo that OnePlus shared new information about its future high-end smartphone. Without revealing all the information about it, it must be recognized that there is very little mystery left around the OnePlus 11.

OnePlus unveils its next smartphone

OnePlus has decided to take control of communication around its OnePlus 11 by announcing on Weibo that its future smartphone will be launched on January 4 in China at 2:30 p.m., i.e. 7:30 a.m. in France the same day. The brand takes the opportunity to share the first official images of the phone in which we can see users with the phone in hand. The images that were unveiled in early December therefore spoke true.

The OnePlus 11 should thus integrate the famous “alert slider” button which the OnePlus 10T was deprived of. The high-end mobile of the Chinese brand, on the other hand, will abandon the square camera module of the OnePlus 10 Pro in favor of a circular shape that will marry the aluminum frame of the phone. A strong distinctive element that should make it easy to identify.

OnePlus did not wish to share information about its camera modules, co-developed with camera manufacturer Hasselblad, which should be a central point of their communication. However, we already know a good part of the OnePlus 11 spec sheet which will have a 50 Mpx wide-angle camera, a 48 Mpx for the ultra-wide-angle and a last of 32 Mpx for the telephoto. The front camera is expected with a definition of 16 Mpx.

If the brand has not confirmed anything for the moment, the OnePlus 11 should logically ship a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip, 12 or 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage in UFS 4.0 and Android 13 with ColorOS (on the Chinese model). The phone should not be forgotten in the pocket as it will be equipped with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display and it will weigh around 205 grams. On the endurance side, the phone will rely on a 5000 mAh battery and 100W fast charging.

Several colors and headphones

The OnePlus 11 will be offered in at least two colors: matte black and olive green. Like any self-respecting Chinese smartphone launch, new wireless headphones should be presented: the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. These will be offered in the same colors as the phone and display a fairly classic design, as you can see on this official picture.

Beyond the Chinese launch date, we also know that the two products will be officially launched in India on February 7. No calendar has yet been unveiled for the rest of the world, but the OnePlus 11 is likely to show up a few days or weeks later in our country.

The Chinese brand will thus be in confrontation with the Samsung Galaxy S23 whose presentation is also expected at the beginning of February.
