Al-Marsad Newspaper – Agencies: Qatar announced that it is following with great concern the current developments in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis related to the accession agreements of the Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia.
In a statement, the Qatari Foreign Ministry stressed “the need to respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, and to pursue dialogue as a way to resolve the crisis.”
She stressed the position of the State of Qatar calling for the need to adhere to the Charter of the United Nations and the well-established principles of international law, including obligations under the Charter to settle international disputes by peaceful means.
