Artificial intelligence (AI) is capable of tremendous advances in medicine, in the conquest of space and even in the understanding of our planet. But it is also scary, as evidenced by the summit which took place this week in Bletchley Park, in London, in the presence of Elon Musk, Sam Altman, but also many political leaders. There remains a burning question: should we rely on open source which allows everyone to understand, but also to use AI?
