The game is coming out of early access this summer

Alongside the Wholesome Direct where the game appeared, indie developers Glumberland shared on Twitter that their game will be releasing in version 1.0 this summer.

Available in early access since July 15, 2020, Ooblets is a life simulation like Animal Crossing or The Sims. Radiant with its pastel surroundings, the seaside town of Oob is a tranquil place where you are asked to take over an old derelict farmhouse and tend to it.

Meeting the locals, making connections, and cultivating your piece of land will not be your only activities. Ooblets, small local creatures that give the game its name, can be used to complete certain farming-related tasks or operate machinery.
