In Senegal, a meeting was held Tuesday, April 19 at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, after the announcement of a shortage of kerosene at Blaise-Diagne international airport. The government assures that the situation will return to normal in the next few days.

« The anticipation is there, except the product is hard to find globally. We will continue to work to consolidate our needs in order to eventually issue a common call for tenders for the needs of the country on the various important products. »
For its part, the national airline Air Senegal assured on Tuesday April 19 that it had made all the arrangements for the “ normal course of its flight schedule, with the same schedules.
The company in charge of the supply had assured that from this Wednesday, the refueling of the planes would no longer be possible in Dakar, due to a ” unavailability ” fuel. Airlines are therefore called upon to ensure the kerosene autonomy of their return flights.
