The great Detroit DJ Rick Wade releases Funky One, an EP with carnal and carnivalesque deep house

Rick Wade has just released the 4-track “Funky One”, with several remixes of the eponymous track.

Rick Wade aka Big Daddy Rick aka Dr. Low-Tech is a producer and DJ from Detroit who started mixing in the 1980s – in parallel with his studies – u Nectarine Ballroom, where Jeff Mills also begins his career in techno. About ten years later, after making his show “Journey To The Land of House” on WCBN radio a success, he launched his label Harmonie Park. The artist – also a fan of anime, philosophy and lo-fi music – is now releasing his mini EP on the platforms Funky One, composed of the dantesque “Carnality”, travels in a sensual and carnivalesque world.
