The Green Riyadh Program launched the world’s largest irrigation water network in Riyadh, with a length of 1,350 km.
This comes with the aim of transporting 1.7 million cubic meters per day of treated water to irrigate 7.5 million trees and shrubs in various locations in Riyadh.
The scope of the new irrigation network will not be limited to feeding the works and projects of the Green Riyadh Program only, but will also include other major projects such as the Diriyah Gate, King Salman Park and the Sports Track.
