President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, received at Baabda Palace today, Sunday, the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, who stated following the visit, revealing that he carried President Aoun a Kuwaiti, Gulf, Arab and international message as proposed measures and ideas to build confidence once more with Lebanon.
The Kuwaiti minister added, “They are now in the process of studying it, and God willing, a response will come to us soon, and Lebanon is an arena of hope for all, not a platform of aggression.”
Al-Sabah conveyed to the President of the Republic the greetings of the Emir of the State of Kuwait and the Crown Prince and his wishes for more security, stability and prosperity for Lebanon.
“We demanded that Lebanon not be a platform for any verbal or actual aggression, and that it be a shining element and a distinctive icon in the Arab Mashreq,” he said, noting that there is no tendency to interfere in Lebanese internal affairs.
