Honda is currently working on an ambitious electrification and decarbonization strategy, which envisages an investment volume of around 60 billion euros by 2040. As part of this, two million purely electric Honda automobiles are to leave the production lines every year by 2030. A separate electric platform, on which both front, rear and all-wheel drive versions can be displayed, is ready, the first messenger will be the e:Ny1 in late summer (see below), and in Europe, the wholesale market “with the most ambitious environmental goals” (Honda), the Japanese see themselves well positioned and up-to-date.
