The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education emphasized the importance of the role and mission of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, and its success in consolidating its position over the past period as a global platform for spreading the culture of excellence at the local, regional and international levels.
Amal Al-Afifi, Secretary General of the Award, indicated that the award is keen to participate in a distinguished pavilion in the various sessions of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, so that through its participation in this pavilion it translates its mission and goals in spreading the culture of excellence in the educational field, explaining that the exhibition provides an opportunity for writers and intellectuals from different Community groups and institutions to participate in the cultural renaissance taking place in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, especially the UAE in general, as the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has established its position as the capital of world culture through the pioneering role it plays in building bridges of civilized communication with various cultures around the world.
Sustainability of excellence
Amal Al-Afifi said: The award is participating in the exhibition in the hall under the slogan “Sustainability of Excellence”, which reflects the award’s message and objectives in spreading excellence and motivating elements in the educational field to launch projects and initiatives that promote excellence at the level of the education sector, in both its university and pre-university parts.
She pointed out that the award sheds light, through its pavilion, on axes and topics related to the fields presented in the Khalifa Award for Education, as well as the field of the Khalifa International Award for Early Education, the first of its kind in the world, which aims to highlight best practices in early childhood education.
