Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Embassy of Qatar in Paris confirmed that one of the embassy guards in the French capital was killed, on Monday morning, in a “heinous and unjustified crime”, as it described it.
Immediately after the crime occurred, the French authorities arrested the suspect and launched investigations, according to what the embassy said in a tweet via its official Twitter account.
The embassy added that it is awaiting the results of the investigations, calling for “respect for the privacy of the family of the deceased,” and expressed the feelings of sadness and sorrow as a result of this crime.
