The La Haus platform, a leader in real estate technology, announced that it has closed a Series B investment round for US $ 35 million, with which it will seek to continue consolidating its expansion in the region.
According to a company statement, the capitalization was led by Greenspring Associates and included the participation of Hometeam Ventures, a fund specialized in real estate innovation investments.
Likewise, funds such as Kaszek Ventures, Acrew Capital, NFX, IMO Ventures and renowned investors such as Spencer Rascoff, founder of Zillow, also participated in the investment round.
For Rodrigo Sánchez-Ríos, co-founder and president of La Haus, it is a good time to buy a home, despite the great challenges that the pandemic has left us.
“We saw an irreversible acceleration with an unprecedented willingness of buyers and sellers to use digital tools. The new reality also changed the paradigm about what our house means and the time we spend in it, added to a global trend of historical lows in interest rates. We are in a great moment to acquire a house, ”added Sánchez-Ríos.
It should be noted that in 2020 the company, in addition to receiving another capitalization for US $ 10 million, strengthened its team with specialized talent such as Thomas Floracks, new Chief Product Officer,
recognized as one of the key figures in product and user experience in the technological ecosystem of the region.
