The “largest batch”… The Presidential Pardon Committee: Starting the procedures for the release of 70 of the remanded prisoners

Representative Tariq Al-Khouly, a member of the presidential pardon committee, announced the start of coordinating the procedures for the release of 70 persons from those held in pretrial detention.

Representative Tariq El-Khouly, a member of the presidential pardon committee, stressed that this batch of presidential releases is the largest since the start of reactivating the pardon commission.

It is noteworthy that the Presidential Pardon Committee announced last week the release of 39 of those held in pretrial detention, after completing the procedures for their release, which was widely welcomed and praised by the political parties, who stressed that these steps confirm the positive atmosphere carried out by the Egyptian state within the framework of the national dialogue.
