[Japan National Football Team Update]The FIFA rankings have been updated for the first time since the Qatar World Cup.
FIFA has released the latest FIFA rankings on the 22nd.
Argentina won the Qatar World Cup by defeating France on penalties. In addition, the Croatia national team finished 3rd and the Moroccan national team finished 4th. While the Asian teams such as Japan, South Korea, and Australia made an outstanding effort, the German and Belgian national teams were eliminated from the group. It was a great competition.
In the FIFA rankings updated for the first time after the tournament, Japan moved up four places from before to become 20th and reign supreme in Asia. Argentina rose to 2nd place and France moved up 1 place to 3rd place, but Brazil still held the top spot.
In addition, in Group E, in which Japan lived together, Germany and Spain both dropped three spots to 14th and 10th respectively. On the other hand, Morocco rose from 22nd to 11th as a country that jumped up significantly. Croatia also moved up from 12th to 7th.
