The leaders of Civilization VI from the new season break the game

The other day Firaxis Games and 2k released to Sid Meier’s Civilization VI unusual addition: Leader Pass. A special “leader pass” consists of six parts, each of which includes several leaders. And the owners Civilization VI Anthology in Steam get it for free.

Despite the optionality and availability of the subscription, it receives mostly negative reviews: only 35% of players advised to think about buying it. And this is due to technical problems: for many players, the game simply stopped launching after installing the Leader Pass.

Firaxis has already managed to release a patch, but it did not solve all the problems. Players are reporting that they are unable to participate in matches or see content from previously purchased add-ons. Many also complain that they could only get a subscription for free by contacting technical support – but the developers have practically solved this problem.

In addition, the assortment of new leaders from the already released set of “Great Diplomats” did not please the players. Many argue that they are all boring both in single player and online. The only exception is Lincoln, whose industrial zones give free units, and special skills allow you to cope with a side decrease in plantation productivity.

However, these problems will not affect players from Russia and Belarus. They cannot purchase the Leader Pass for Civilization VI.
