The levy for domestic workers will come into effect from tomorrow

Riyadh: The levy on domestic workers in Saudi Arabia will take effect tomorrow (Sunday). It has been decided to implement the project in two phases. The levy is 9,600 riyals per year.

Concessions will be given from the levy to those who come for medical care cases and care for people with special needs. However, the exemption will be granted only following the approval of the committee constituted for the purpose. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting on March 8.
