The LG DualUp monitor in a new format is available for pre-order

The LG monitor presented at the last CES and superimposing two 1440p panels vertically is now available for pre-order.

As a reminder, the LG 28MQ780 DualUP is a Square Double QHD monitor with a 28-inch IPS HDR10 panel with a definition of 2560×2880 pixels (i.e. the vertical assembly of two 21.5 inches in 2560×1440 pixels without borders, like what is usually obtained horizontally with ultrawide format monitors) and a new 16/18 format.

The brightness of the panel reaches 300 nits, the response time is 5 ms from gray to gray and the screen offers 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The DualUp has two built-in 2x7W speakers and comes with the Ergo stand to facilitate ideal screen placement. According to LG, its format would allow reduce side-to-side head movement, a leading cause of neck pain (especially with an ultrawide screen). This format could be interesting for content creators, designers, developers and other businesses that would benefit from an extended height format.
