The Lions Dominate HC Davos in Playoff Series: Post-Match Analysis presented by Vaudoise Assurances

The Lions won against HC Davos in front of their home crowd and took the lead in the series. The post-match is presented to you by our main partner, Vaudoise assurances.

A match controlled from start to finish

From the start of the match, our Lions immediately managed to impose their rhythm. As in Act I, it was the defenders Andrea Glauser and Lukas Frick who proved decisive in the first third with two important goals which brought to fruition the good highlights of our players.

Very seriously, our Lions are following the plan defined by Geoff Ward to the letter. Always as solid in front of Connor Hughes, our players were particularly uncompromising in boxplay by stopping all the opposing attempts. In control over the rest of the match, the LHC contained the offensives of Josh Holden’s players well and was barely worried at the end of the match.

Even though HC Davos managed to come back twice in the match, Geoff Ward’s men seemed to have the upper hand physically and in the game on the ice. A successful performance that will have to be reproduced this Saturday March 23 in Davos during Act IV!

A great party in the stands

Deprived of the final stages last season, the public at the Vaudoise Arena seems to be responding in numbers to come and support the LHC Lions during these playoffs. Almost full during these first two acts, the Lions’ den encourages our players in unison to push them towards victory thanks to an atmosphere worthy of the most beautiful evenings in Lausanne!

Exceptional support which will be very important in the progress of the series to go as far as possible together. A big thank you for your mobilization and see you Monday for Act V!
